rural areas; and to ensure access to safe food and high-quality agricultural
products needed by Turkey and world markets.
UCTEA Chamber of Food Engineers: Aims
to satisfy legally the common needs of members, to represent and introduce food
engineering profession, working on educational needs, ethics and food policies
etc. in the defined legal frame.
The Scientific and Technological Research
Council of Turkey, Marmara Research Center Food Institute (TUBITAK,
MAM) : Aims to conduct scientific and technological studies in
accordance with the national priorities; technological development and
strengthening the competitiveness of Turkish food industry; assisting safe and
quality food production and solving nutrition related problems in the society.
Institute of Food Technologists (IFT): is a nonprofit scientific
society aiming to introduce members working in food science, food technology,
and related professions in industry, academia, and government.
American Society for Microbiology (ASM): is the largest
scientific society of individuals interested in the microbiological sciences.
